Every December thousands of people around the world organize celebrations of good, clean and fair food. Terra Madre Day brings together all who share the vision of a food system that supports local economies, that respects the environment, biodiversity, taste, and tradition.
This year Slow Food Phoenix will celebrate Terra Madre Day with a local pasta party. Join us for a pasta lunch at FnB in Scottsdale featuring locally-made pasta from Sonoran Pasta Co. The afternoon meal will start with light snacks including a selection of cheese, meats, nuts and pickles before guests enjoy a lunch featuring four types of pasta and scratch-made sauces from chef Gerardo Moceri of Gerardo’s Italian Kitchen in Sedona. The meal also includes a 'farmer's choice' salad made with locally-grown greens and bread from Phoenix's Noble Bread. Dessert options will include cookies, bars and candies.
The cost is $25 per person and includes lunch and one glass of wine. Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/terra-madre-local-pasta-party-tickets-83497333773
